Out of Order

The exhibition title "Out of Order" refers to objects that are detached from their usual context and function, but also a rebellion against all kinds of ordering principles. With humor, illusion, and simple tricks, the artists shift perspectives, often using readymades/used objects that take on a different meaning in new combinations. The installations show interiors that challenge gravity; frozen moments of everyday environments that give the impression of having a life of their own. The focus is also on the tipping point, just before everything falls apart - when everything collapses.
